Talk about ungrateful.
New mom Kim Kardashian ripped Katie Couric on Instagram – by posting a photo of the baby gift Couric sent her with a pair of nasty hashtags. Couric’s card, on the other hand, seemed lovely.
Kardashian’s caption read: “IHateFakeMediaFriends” and “MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkShit.”
Couric said in an In Touch interview recently that she didn’t get why the Kardashians were so famous.
“I think it’s mostly teenage girls that are interested,” the ABC talk show host said.
So maybe Kim has a legitimate beef. But we bet she still kept the gift.
Couric responded Friday through a statement:
“I’ve met Kim before and I think she’s a really sweet person. I was responding to a reporter’s question, and explaining how I’m intrigued by the public’s fascination with her family. I didn’t mean to hurt her feelings. The gift is genuine, and I’m happy for Kim and Kanye.”
