Maybe that breakup with Kristen Stewart has gotten to Robert Pattinson after all.
The “Twilight” star assaulted a security guard Friday night outside of a Los Angeles club thinking he was a photographer in this video published by TMZ.
Pattinson was leaving the legendary Troubadour club in West Hollywood when he was surrounded by paparazzi. It was a chaotic scene with flashbulbs going off everywhere. Before Pattinson got into a waiting SUV, he turned around and mushed a security guard right in the mug.
The security guard, who dropped his glasses in the exchange, can be heard saying “he grabbed me on my face,” but didn’t seem angry. He knew Pattinson mistook him for a photog. Meanwhile, the paparazzi peppered Stewart’s ex with questions like “Why did you hit him? He was just trying to protect you.”
Once inside the vehicle, Pattinson put his head down and covered his eyes. He did not look pleased.
Is it possible he hasn’t gotten complete closure from his relationship with Stewart? A source told Perez Hilton this week that Pattinson has “no regrets.”
“Rob blamed himself for the demise of their relationship,” the source said. “But what he has learned is priceless and he is grateful for this. He has no regrets. And yes he has forgiven Kristen, but more importantly he has forgiven himself.”
