Museum of Sex exhibit honors Linda Lovelace

The late Linda Lovelace will be honored by the Museum of Sex with an exhibition called “The Eve of Porn.” The exhibit will pay tribute to the late “Deep Throat” star with never-before-seen photos by the late Milton H. Greene, well known for his shots of Marilyn Monroe; items from “The Complete Linda Lovelace” author Eric Danville; and a new documentary from “The Uncensored Oral History of the Porn Film Industry” author Legs McNeil called “Linda Lovelace’s Loose Lips: The Last Interview.” McNeil tells us the film, shot in 2000, is what he believes was the last interview with the legendary porn actress, who died in 2002. “It’s her story with her telling it,” McNeil said. “It’s kind of like her last will and testament. She even talks about giving her child up for adoption.” The exhibition opens Monday with a party including a performance by puppeteer Lee Zimmerman, who we’re told will be performing his puppet-stripper pole-dancing routine.
