Comics ran wild as the New York Comedy Festival wrapped over the weekend. After his Beacon Theatre gig Saturday night, Bill Maher hosted a dinner for 65 at Vai on the Upper West Side, where our spies say guests included Michael Moore and Andre Balazs — who arrived with a “stunning, tall blonde date.” We hear Maher personally chose the menu. Blocks downtown, funny guys Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock were spotted having dinner together at Marc Murphy’s Landmarc at Time Warner Center. John Mulaney — often compared to Seinfeld by his former “SNL” collaborator Bill Hader — headlined Town Hall on Saturday to a sold-out crowd. And Larry David and David Steinberg, who played Town Hall together on Sunday night, were seen “in deep conversation for hours” at Primola on the Upper East Side after their performance. Also at the restaurant was “Johnny Carson” author Henry Bushkin. Another comedy fest headliner, Charlie Murphy, celebrated his run of Carolines shows at Midtown restaurant Bice, where Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins’ son Miles spun the tunes.
