Fashion dons, music moguls and royalty will dance until the morning hours at the Jazz Foundation of America’s 22nd annual Loft Party on Saturday night in Chelsea.
Jazz artists including Kenny Barron, Ron Carter and Shuggie Otis will perform. Guests expected at the Parmigiani Fleurier-sponsored event done in partnership with the Montreux Jazz Festival include Andre Leon Tally, Prince Robert and Princess Julie of Luxembourg, Mica Ertegun, Dick and Laura Parsons, Danny Glover, and Melvin van Peebles.
Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Chic’s Nile Rodgers will also be there, and many hope they’ll end up jamming with the jazz greats.
