‘Jersey Boys’ return heading off-Broadway

Jersey Boys,” an 11-year blockbuster on Broadway, 2014 Clint Eastwood-helmed film and global stage hit, is returning to New York this fall. The show, which ran for more than 4,600 performances at Jujamcyn Theatres’ August Wilson Theatre, closed in January. Lead producers Dodger Theatricals is bringing the show back to a smaller venue, the Shubert Organization’s New World Stages complex, in November.

Dates and casting will be announced later.

The biomusical about Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons is written by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe. Des McAnuff directs, with choreography by Sergio Trujillo. The production includes Music Supervision, Vocal/Dance Arrangements & Incidental Music by Ron Melrose and Orchestrations by Steve Orich.
