‘Deadpool 2’ stuntwoman wasn’t wearing a helmet during fatal crash

The stuntwoman who was killed on the set of “Deadpool 2” wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time — because there wasn’t enough time to get one specially made, according to a report Wednesday.

Filming of the Ryan Reynolds-starred Marvel movie resumed in Vancouver, two days after Joi “SJ” Harris died while filming a motorcycle stunt.

Harris lost control of her bike and was killed after crashing into the windows of a building.

The 40-year-old road racer had just signed onto the film last Wednesday and was replacing another stunt double for the character Domino, Deadline reported.

She wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time of the crash — even though the stunt double she replaced on the shoot had a helmet that went under her wig.

But because of the short notice, Harris didn’t have time to get a customized helmet made for under her wig, according to Deadline.

It was Harris’ first film as a stunt rider. She was the first black woman to compete in road racing.

Her death is under investigation.
