Bob Saget is in love and doesn’t care who knows it.
“I didn’t think I’d have a relationship again,” the divorced 61-year-old told Closer Weekly. “I was kind of in that ‘just work, make people happy and take care of your kids until they’re 90’ mindset.”
But the “Full House” star has found happiness with Kelly Rizzo, a travel blogger from Chicago who is 23 years his junior.
“She’s a remarkable person, and she’s really talented,” he gushed.
Saget has three 20-something daughters with ex-wife Sherri Kramer Saget, whom he split from in 1997 after 15 years of marriage. He says his girls are getting along with Rizzo just fine.
“My daughters love her!” he said.
On social media, Saget has shared several snaps of Rizzo shopping, in transit and of the two together with musicians from nights out at concerts.
Rizzo, 38 — whose Instagram page mostly reflects her professional pursuits — broke from her brand to wish her older boyfriend a happy birthday in May.
“Happy Birthday to the man who keeps me laughing, keeps me on my toes (literally) and keeps me feeling like the luckiest girl in the world,” she wrote. “I Love you beyond words @bobsaget.”
Rizzo previously told Michigan Avenue magazine that the two met in 2015 through a mutual friend.
“I don’t really see him as Danny Tanner,” she said of his famed TV dad character. “To me he’s just Bobby, my love.”
Closer reports that Rizzo will be his plus-one at the upcoming Cool Comedy, Hot Cuisine benefit for the Scleroderma Research Foundation, a charity close to his heart after losing his sister to the disease.
“I’m happier today,” he said. “I’m the youngest 61-year-old I know!”
