Alleged Taylor Swift stalker rants about Katy Perry ties

The obsessed fan accused of stalking Taylor Swift went on a delusional rant after his bust, telling police he works for Katy Perry and has “ties to the industry,” court documents show.

“I’m in the music world and get people started,” Mohammed Jaffar, 29, allegedly told a detective on March 6, the day he was arrested. “I do work for Katy Perry. I helped her get started.”

Jaffar, who allegedly snuck onto the roof of Swift’s $20 million penthouse in Tribeca and called her management company 59 times, also told police he left the pop star “messages about business deals.”

Jaffar pleaded not guilty Monday in Manhattan Supreme Court.

He is being held in lieu of $20,000 bail and is due back in court on Aug. 7.

His lawyer, Liz Beal of the Legal Aid Society, says she wants his case to be moved to mental-health court.
