Gwen Stefani had to skip a planned performance at a starry charity gala on Thursday night after rupturing her eardrum, her publicist told Page Six.

Because of the injury, she was unable to travel to Las Vegas for Keep Memory Alive’s Power of Love Gala.

During the event, the organization’s chairman, Larry Ruvo, told the crowd the songstress would not be performing and then played a recorded video apology from her.

Jennifer Hudson stepped in to replace Stefani, singing “Hallelujah,” “Remember Me” and a Whitney Houston mash-up of “I’m Every Woman” and “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.”

Jon Bon Jovi also performed a number of his hits.

Larry King and Kenneth “Baby Face” Edmonds were among the guests.

The event, which honored Ronald Perelman and iconic entertainer Siegfried Fischbacher, raised funds for the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.
