Jon Gosselin never thought his life would end up like this

Jon Gosselin is taking his debut as a stripper seriously.

“I lost weight. I lost 25 pounds — for my health, too,” the former reality star and ex-husband of Kate Gosselin told Page Six Monday. “I have hereditary high blood pressure. So I started dieting. My girlfriend is a nurse practitioner. I just try to be healthy.”

On Saturday, April 1 (which also happens to be Gosselin’s 40th birthday), he will star in three acts of the “Untamed Male Revue” at Dusk nightclub in Atlantic City, N.J. Tickets are $40 each.

“It’s the last episode in my 30s and the first episode in my 40s,” Gosselin explained.

The father of eight (Madelyn and Cara, 16, and sextuplets Colin, Joel, Aaden, Hannah, Alexis and Leah, 12) — who deejays and works in the promotions department of the club — isn’t nervous, comparing the experience to being in his bathing suit on TV.

As for what songs he’ll dance to, Gosselin told us he’s “old school.”

“I always think about Tupac’s ‘Changes’ … if you listen to the words, it really professes a lot of things. Part of me is Bobby Brown ‘My Prerogative.’ Because it is my prerogative! It’s not anyone else’s business,” he explained.

While clubgoers will be on pins and needles to see if Gosselin strips down to his underwear or goes full monty, his eight kids are fully aware of what will take place.

“My kids know everything that’s gonna go on,” he said. “I cleared it with them before I did anything … I told them the whole marketing plan. They’re teenagers now. They understand this stuff.”

After leaving reality TV in 2009 and taking on multiple jobs, including a short stint as a chef at T.G.I. Fridays in 2016, Gosselin never thought his life would take this turn.

“I literally thought when I quit ‘Jon and Kate Plus 8’ in 2009 that it was like quitting a job. ‘See ya. Have a nice life. I’m just gonna move on,’” he said. “It just doesn’t work that way. For years I thought … why do people care so much? You just have to live with it.”
