Comedian Rosie O’Donnell has said she’s keen to play White House chief strategist Steve Bannon on “Saturday Night Live” — and now she’s dressing the part.
O’Donnell changed her Twitter avatar Thursday night to reveal herself as a picture-perfect doppelganger of the ex-chief executive of Breitbart.
Her angling to portray Bannon comes less than a week after actress Melissa McCarthy’s “SNL” debut as White House press secretary Sean Spicer.
O’Donnell and Trump have a caustic history, with Trump mocking her weight and looks.
In the first presidential primary debate in 2015, then-Fox News host Megyn Kelly said to Trump, “You’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals.”
“Only Rosie O’Donnell,” he sniped.
