The Mooch is headed to Israel just weeks after ‘tone-deaf’ Holocaust poll

The Mooch is off to the Holy Land.

A month after Anthony Scaramucci’s “media venture” posted a tasteless poll on the Holocaust, the short-lived White House communications director is taking a four-day trip to Israel, The Post has learned.

“I’ll meet everybody,” he told The Post on Friday, hours before he was to take off. “I’m having dinner with Dave Friedman, the ambassador, who’s a great friend of mine.”

The one-time hedgie is also heading to Yad Vashem, the Holocaust memorial site in Jerusalem, he said.

Last month, the Scaramucci Post, a Twitter account that he controls with business partner Lance Laifer, asked participants to vote on how many Jews died in the Holocaust.

It was quickly taken down, but then reappeared three days later.

The poll was an “unforced error” and “very, very stupid and very tone-deaf,” he told The Post.

The Mooch, as he’s known, said that the Scaramucci Post would be a “huge success” in six months, and may even start hiring writers.

As for rumors that he’s writing a book on his 10-day stint at the White House? “Fake news,” he said.

“I would never write a tell-all book,” he added.
