Debbie Reynolds rushed to the hospital

Debbie Reynolds was reportedly rushed to the hospital the day after her daughter, “Star Wars” icon Carrie Fisher, died.

According to TMZ, Reynolds suffered a possible stroke Wednesday while at her son Todd’s Beverly Hills home. She was rushed by ambulance to a nearby emergency room after someone called 911.

Reynolds, 84, was listed in “fair to serious” condition when she was taken to the hospital, according to the website.

Actress Reynolds has been “distraught” since her daughter’s massive heart attack on Friday, the site reported. Reynolds wrote a heartfelt Facebook message following Fisher’s death on Tuesday, saying, “Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter. I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop. Love Carrie’s Mother.”

Reynolds and her son were reportedly talking about funeral plans when the medical emergency occurred.

Fisher died at the age of 60 days after suffering a heart attack while aboard an airplane.

A rep for the family didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
