Disgraced NBC anchor Matt Lauer was spotted, for the first time since he was fired, on Thursday in East Hampton.

As Page Six exclusively reported, Lauer skipped town Wednesday to see his 16-year-old son, Jack, and “explain what happened and why he was fired in person.”

Lauer’s wife Annette Roque and their three children live year-round in the Hamptons, while he lives in Manhattan during the week.

Photos of Lauer show him meeting up with his longtime friend and lawyer, Edward D. Burke Jr., in front of Riverhead Building Supply near the train station in East Hampton.

In the photos, the former “Today” co-host is seen giving Burke an envelope before they go their separate ways.

Lauer was fired from his job with NBC on Tuesday night after he allegedly sexually harassed a staffer during the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Multiple women have since come forward with misconduct claims.
