Tara Subkoff’s friends say her ex is lying about divorce demands

Furious friends of Tara Subkoff insist she’s not seeking $10 million in her bitter divorce from Urs Fischer — and they claim it’s his side that’s floating her eight-figure demands.

“Tara did not ask for $10 million or anything close to this amount,” said a pal. “This is a lie placed by Urs’ side. Tara only wants to do what the court decides is fair and reasonable, and to move forward with her life and focus on her new baby daughter and her writing. She has asked Urs multiple times to make an offer so they could all stay out of the press and out of court.”

The couple was in Manhattan Family Court this past week, where actress-turned-filmmaker Subkoff arrived with their infant daughter, Grace. Sources close to Fischer said Subkoff is demanding $10 million from the hot artist, and “her level of greed or avarice is really high.”

Subkoff has told The Post that Fischer was absent from their baby’s birth. A pal told us this past week, “Besides a therapy appointment in July, he’s seen his baby daughter only once — in court.”

Fischer’s friends have groused that Subkoff is the one who has put up “barrier after barrier,” keeping the sculptor from the baby. But a Subkoff source snapped: “Urs has only requested one visit after he saw Grace in court . . . Tara and Grace waited for him at their agreed-upon meeting location in Central Park for over two hours. Urs never showed up.”

While it’s been reported the pair tied the knot in 2014, sources say they were actually married a year earlier in secret. A source said Fischer served Subkoff with divorce papers while she was five months pregnant “at a meditation retreat.”

Fischer, whose art sells for millions, has already left his soon-to-be-ex with a one-of-a-kind work — albeit probably not one she was hoping for.

The piece was created when the burly, tattooed sculptor allegedly punched in a wall during an argument. After Fischer dented the wall at their home, a source said, “He tried to make a drawing out of it to apologize.”

A photo of the wall seen by Page Six shows the dramatic dent with a drawing allegedly made by Fischer over it of a man and a woman kissing.

Attorneys for the couple didn’t comment.
