Tiffany Haddish re-wears ‘Girls Trip’ gown to Oscars

Tiffany Haddish wasn’t kidding when she said she would constantly re-wear the Alexander McQueen gown she donned to her “Girls Trip” premiere.

The comedian walked the Oscars red carpet in an Eretrian-style gown that paid homage to her father, but while presenting with Maya Rudolph during the ceremony, Haddish changed into the McQueen gown and paired it with Ugg slippers.

Haddish, 38, poked fun at herself for wearing the gown a second time when she hosted “Saturday Night Live” in November.

“I wore it on the red carpet for ‘Girls Trip’ and my whole team, they told me, ‘Tiffany, you cannot wear that dress on ‘SNL’. You already wore it. It’s taboo to wear it twice,’ and I said, ‘I don’t give a dang about no taboo,'” she said on “SNL.”

“I spent a lot of money on this dress!” she continued. “This dress cost way more than my mortgage … this is an Alexander McQueen, okay? It’s a $4,000 dress. I’m [going to] wear this dress multiple times! Real talk. You might see this dress in two sketches tonight, okay?”

Haddish definitely got her money’s worth.
