Dina Lohan suspended from driving for a year

Lindsay Lohan’s mom will be bumming a lot of rides this year.

A Long Island judge suspended Dina Lohan’s driver’s license for a year Tuesday and ordered the broke drama mama to pay a $2,500 fine for driving drunk last September.

Lindsay Lohan’s hard-partying mother must also install an alcohol interlock device in her car when she can drive again.

Dina Lohan, 51, who often hits the party scene with her troubled starlet daughter, pleaded guilty to driving her white BMW while drunk along Northern State Parkway last September.

“I know this has been a long process,” her lawyer, Mark Heller, told Nassau District Court Judge Andrew Engel, according to Newsday. “I would like to thank this court for its patience and its even-handed justice dispensed to Ms. Lohan. This has been a very onerous process for her.”

The judge, though, chided Lohan for driving drunk.

“The only person responsible for this onerous ordeal is Ms. Lohan herself,” Engel said. “Fortunately, you didn’t kill anybody, you didn’t kill yourself.”

As part of her plea deal, Lohan was ordered to perform 100 hours of community service, which she completed at a local church, her attorney Heller said.

Heller said Lohan was ecstatic she avoided jail time, despite the fact that “Nassau County dispenses the sternest DWI sentences in America.”

“The DA was elected on the platform that she would be tough on DWI drivers. Dina is so relieved,” he said.

In addition to aggravated drunken driving, Lohan pleaded guilty in April to speeding after cops clocked her doing 77 mph in a 55-mph zone. Her blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit, police said.

The Post reported Lohan is $1.3 million in debt, which includes a $914,000 mortgage she owes on her $1.1 million Merrick, Long Island, home.
