Gwyneth Paltrow and soon-to-be ex-husband Chris Martin are proving that you can be friends with your ex.
The Coldplay frontman, 37, attended Paltrow’s 42nd birthday festivities at her home in Brentwood, California on Saturday. Other guests included Kate Hudson, Tobey Maguire, Nicole Richie and Maya Rudolph.
Martin’s new girlfriend, Jennifer Lawrence, 24, was noticeably absent for the event.
“It seems they are definitely getting more serious,” a source told People. “Whenever Chris is not spending time with Apple (10) and Moses (8) at his Malibu, [California], house, Jen is there. Chris and Jen always time it so that after Gwyneth picks up the kids, Jen will arrive in Malibu minutes after.”
The GOOP founder posted a picture on Instagram from her party thanking fans and friends: “Thank you for all the birthday wishes! #feelingthelove”
