Model guru Bethann Hardison wanted to celebrate receiving a CFDA Award with a raucous dance party.
So Iman, Tyson Beckford and Naomi Campbell are throwing her a Sunday afternoon shaker at Chelsea nightclub Marquee. Jennifer Hudson, Spike Lee, Estelle, Thelma Golden, Shala Monroque and others are expected to shake a tail feather with Hardison, who will receive the Founders Award from the fashion trade group for advocating for diversity on the runways.
Campbell will present Hardison with her award at the CFDAs Monday night at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center.
Rihanna will receive the Fashion Icon award.
We hear Blake Lively will attend with Michael Kors and other guests expected include Lupita Nyong’o, John Waters, Emmy Rossum, Bernadette Peters and designers Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
