New Order will play the Plaza Hotel on June 10 for amfAR’s Inspiration Gala New York.
The UK rockers will perform at the private show to be hosted by Josh Duhamel with Sarah Jessica Parker and includes event chairs Robert De Niro, Jennifer Lopez, Matt Bomer, Alan Cumming, André Leon Talley and James Franco.
Marjorie Gubelmann, aka society DJ Mad Marj, will spin tunes at the party, we hear, where tickets range from $1,000 to $10,000 and the dress code is “prints-inspired black-tie.”
Those honored at the fashionable gala will be HBO’s Michael Lombardo, Calvin Klein’s Francisco Costa and Italo Zucchelli and Princess Mette-Marit of Norway.
