While there are still questions over who took Lupita Nyong’o’s $150,000 pearl-studded Oscar gown from her room at the London West Hollywood, the case has been dropped by the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department after Calvin Klein declined to pursue charges.
“Manufacturers have taken possession of the dress and are non-desirous of prosecution,” a spokesperson told us. “The case has been closed.”
The thief returned the dress last week, stuffing it in a trash bag in a bathroom at the hotel.
