George R.R. Martin: F—k you for thinking I’ll die before finishing ‘Thrones’

George R. R. Martin is tired of people thinking he’ll kick the bucket before he finishes writing the “A Song of Ice and Fire” saga.

“So f–k you to those people,” the novelist, 65, said when asked by Swiss newspaper Tagesanzeiger about the readers who’ve predicted his early demise.

He also said that he finds the talk about his health to be “pretty offensive.”

Martin began writing the books, which have been adapted into the hit HBO series “Game of Thrones,” in 1991. The first volume was published in 1996.

Five books have so far been released in the planned seven book series. The most recent, “A Dance with Dragons” came out in July 2011.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the author was still alive and kicking.
