Bar Naná on brink of closure after David Rabin backs out

Meatpacking District hot spot Bar Naná is on the brink of closing after partner David Rabin parted ways with the trendy lounge.

Rabin, a partner at Jimmy at the James Hotel, the Lambs Club and defunct Double Seven, left a few weeks ago.

Sources expect Trey Hospitality, the firm that owns Bar Naná and included Rabin, Jimmy Haber and Kyle Hotchkiss Carone, to be dissolved.

Bar Naná opened in September 2013 in the former Double Seven space and gathered a following among stylish downtown patrons.

But Rabin explained to us: “I decided about four weeks ago to amicably step away, as I wanted to pursue a few deals for which they didn’t share my interest.”
