Sherri Shepherd’s divorce is getting ugly.
“The View” host’s husband, Lamar Sally, filed divorce papers May 2, and now the couple face a custody battle over their unborn child, due via surrogate in July, People reports.
Sally, 43, is seeking full custody of the unborn child (who will reportedly be named Lamar Sally Jr.) as well as spousal support and invalidation of their prenup.
“I really can’t say anything,” Sally told the magazine, but added he’d lost 50 pounds on what he called “the divorce diet.”
Shepherd, 47, and Sally were married for three years.
She was previously married to Jeff Tarpley. The relationship dissolved after Shepherd caught him having an affair after their son Jeffrey (now 9) was born 15 weeks premature and Shepherd learned the other woman was pregnant with Tarpley’s child.
