Fashion designer Jill Stuart’s 18-year-old daughter, Sophie Curtis, will premiere her movie “Innocence” by turning the Coopers Beach parking lot in Southampton into a drive-in theater Saturday night.
Sophie plays a moody teenager who discovers her elite Manhattan private school is home to a coven of beautiful vampires in the Hilary Brougher-directed psychological thriller.
Others appearing in the movie, executive produced by Sophie’s father Ron Curtis, include Kelly Bensimon, who plays her mother.
Ron told the Wall Street Journal this week of the screening under the stars, “A drive-in is not completely original, but getting Coopers Beach is a little bit of a thing.”
