Jennifer Lawrence couldn’t be more different from Gwyneth Paltrow — and that’s why Chris Martin has fallen for the young actress.
“Jennifer is loads of fun and they can’t stop laughing when they are together. Chris feels he is dating someone who has everything he’s been missing out on in the past 11 years,” a source told The Sun on Sunday (via the Daily Mail).
“Jennifer doesn’t take herself too seriously. When she is not filming, she just wants to hang out and have a good time,” added the insider.
The source continued, “At 24 she’s also a lot younger than Chris and in the short time they’ve been together, he feels he’s been given a new lease of life.”
On Friday, Page Six reported that Martin, 37, and Lawrence, 24, began dating in recent weeks.
Just last week, the new couple spent time together in the Big Apple.
“Jennifer was in New York last week, staying at the Mandarin Oriental, and that’s when things really heated up with Chris. They spent a lot of time together,” a source told Page Six.
Martin and Paltrow, 41, who are parents to 10-year-old Apple and 8-year-old Moses, called it quits in March after 11 years of marriage. They famously called their separation a “conscious uncoupling.”
