Maksim Chmerkovskiy is done with “Dancing with the Stars.”
“I’m done dancing,” the 34-year-old said during an appearance on “The View” on Tuesday. “I’m done with ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ I’m blessed. I’m very honored. Inside, I’m genuinely honored.”
“I feel like I’ve done a lot and not enough for me,” he explained. “I looked at last season and I fell in love with the show … I’m taking up a huge spot and I don’t want to do that anymore.”
When Sherri Shepherd asked if he’s leaving because his rumored girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, needs his services, Chmerkovskiy remained mum but smiled and laughed.
His brother, Val, wouldn’t get involved when questioned about the brewing romance. “I’m no snitch!” he shouted with laughter.
In late June, the “DWTS” hunk attended J.Lo’s show at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut. They were later seen dancing at the Shrine Nightclub.
Chmerkovskiy attended Lopez’s 45th birthday bash in the Hamptons over the weekend, where spies said the pair “looked affectionate. They stuck to each other the whole night after he showed up.”
“Dancing with the Stars” returns Monday, Sept. 15, at 8/7 C on ABC.
