Miley Cyrus tested out her basic drawing skills on tattoo artist Bang Bang in New York City this week.
“I tattooed her first, it went quick and then I gave her the tattoo gun and taught her how to use it,” Bang Bang told Us Weekly. “I actually pranked her. When she went to first put the tattoo needle to my skin, I screamed like it really hurt and she jumped up shaking! She took a walk around and settled down. We laughed about it after she tattooed the moon on my finger. She actually did a really good job.”
Bang Bang is known for his long list of celebrity clients including Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry.
The 21-year-old singer was photographed wearing a crop-top and sporting a braided bun perched on the top of her head while showing off a couple new tattoos she got this week (including a moon that matches Bang Bang’s).
“She wanted to get ‘Love Yer Brain’ tattooed on her arm,” Bang Bang revealed. “It’s her favorite Flaming Lips song and she liked the message.”
The tattoo artist had nothing but good things to say about the “Wrecking Ball” singer.
“We’re talking about doing some more tattoos together later. We had a nice little visit, she was a great client,” he said.
Cyrus finishes her “Bangerz” tour next week and has been spending her free time hanging out in New York.
