Before they co-starred on “Glee,” Lea Michele briefly dated Matthew Morrison.
The 27-year-old reveals the short-lived relationship in the pages of her new book, “Brunette Ambition,” Us Weekly reports.
“When we shot the pilot, I met Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley and Chris Colfer for the first time,” the actress writes. “I had worked on Broadway with Jenna Ushkowitz and Matthew Morrison before.”
She continues, “Matt had been a friend of mine for years, and in fact we’d actually dated back in the day for a Broadway beat.”
Although the co-stars were plagued by relationship rumors when “Glee” first aired, this is the first time Michele — who dated the late Monteith — has admitted any romantic involvement with Morrison, 35.
