Lawyer will do your chores if you don’t like his client’s new movie

Richard Linklater’s lawyer will do your chores if you don’t like his client’s latest movie, “Boyhood,” which took 12 years to make.

“[Richard’s] L-O-N-G awaited ‘Boyhood’ hits theaters . . . today,” top film rep John Sloss wrote in a Friday e-mail blast.

“I am offering any recipient of the e-mail (strictly non-transferable) my patented ‘Time Back Guarantee’ . . . if you are not absolutely thrilled . . . and/or consider [the film] not to be a good use of your time, I will give you that time back by performing any of your customary chores for up to 2 hours and 43 minutes.”

We’re not sure how much of that is in billable hours.

Sloss, who also executive produced, offered the same deal for 2010 Banksy doc “Exit Through the Gift Shop.”
