Baldwin likes the Taiwanese ‘crazy news’ version of his arrest

He doesn’t look so tough pedaling a pink bike.

One day after being busted for a cycling-summons meltdown on Fifth Avenue, Alec Baldwin on Wednesday retweeted a bizarre cartoon parody of the arrest that shows him getting beat down by two obese female cops who confiscate his bike.

The online video by Taiwan’s Next Animation studio features the Baldwin character in the same shorts, jacket and visor that he wore as he lobbed a barrage of F-bombs at the two cops.

But unlike the real Baldwin, who rode a pricey, matte-black Cannondale bike with disc brakes and a Rockshox fork, his cartoon doppelganger rides one that’s a girly pink, with training wheels and a bright-red horn on the handlebars.

The video also shows the “30 Rock” hothead being mocked in the police station, then returning home “to whine some more” on Twitter, where he angrily called the city “a mismanaged carnival of stupidity.”

The cartoon ends with the narrator saying, “Baldwin should just move to Taiwan, where traffic rules are more like traffic suggestions” — as he gets knocked off his bike by a truck and creamed by construction equipment.
Mayor de Blasio weighed in Wednesday on Baldwin’s arrest, calling the incident “unfortunate.”

“I’ve said consistently, I respect him. I think he has said important and thoughtful things about this city over the years, but this is an unfortunate situation,” the mayor said.

Last year, Baldwin hosted then-candidate de Blasio on the premiere of the actor’s short-lived MSNBC talk show.

The weekly program was canceled after Baldwin was caught on video calling a photographer a “c–ksucking fag” — which he later denied saying.

De Blasio has distanced himself from Baldwin since that incident, which drew widespread condemnation from gay activists.

Baldwin was on his best behavior Wednesday, ignoring reporters and photographers waiting outside his East Village apartment.

Later, he went to a retirement party for TV news legend Barbara Walters and talked over his problems with Woody Allen.

“The one and only Woody Allen told me tonight that his biggest pet peeve in NYC are cyclists who ride against traffic,” Baldwin later tweeted.

The bike incident came weeks after Baldwin wrote a cover story article for New York magazine in which he said he was considering moving to LA.

His rep declined to comment.
