Joan Rivers: I didn’t hex Norwegian cruise ship

Joan Rivers swears she didn’t put a curse on Norwegian Cruise Line after it canceled her July voyage to Alaska.

But it looked suspicious on Sunday when 4,500 passengers on the Norwegian Breakaway were stranded in New York Harbor for three hours because of a propeller problem.

“I wish I could say I was a white witch, but it wasn’t me,” Rivers told me. “They aren’t the brightest. Instead of sending out an SOS, they sent out the theme song from ‘Titanic.’ ”

The funny lady’s Alaskan adventure, which featured her as a guest speaker, was scuttled after Rivers joked on the “Today” show about the guest room in her daughter Melissa’s house, “Those women in the basement in Cleveland had more space.”

Rivers refused to apologize to the women who were held captive by evil Ariel Castro, saying, “There is nothing to apologize for. I made a joke. That’s what I do.”

The comedian is disappointed by the cancellation, though. “I was all set to go. I bought liquor for the captain. I had a set of oars. I had a lot of Kaopectate . . . Instead, I’m going to Venice [on a family vacation with Melissa and Melissa’s 13-year-old son, Cooper].”
