Charles James is still the toast of the Met.

Jan Glier Reeder — fashion historian and co-curator of the Metropolitan Museum retrospective on James’ work that kicked off in May — will host a champagne toast to the designer on Friday for what would’ve been his 108th birthday.

To go along with the bubbly, a group will play 1940s tunes live at the Great Hall Balcony Bar.

The designer’s last assistant, Homer Layne, also co-hosted a private walk-through of the exhibition on Monday night for the occasion.

Artist Anton Perich’s new 20-hour doc series on James, featuring Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali, Lou Reed and interviews by R. Couri Hay, is being made into a feature by director Angela Bernhard Thomas.
