Mike Tyson: Jamie Foxx ‘should do steroids’ to prepare for biopic

How will Jamie Foxx manage to play Mike Tyson?

Steroids, pork and computer imaging, says the heavyweight champ.

Before his recent standing ovation at Comic-Con, Iron Mike first revealed that Foxx, 46, would play him in a biopic during a rollicking appearance on Vice’s new adult Web series “The Jim Norton Show.”

“Jamie Foxx is going to do a movie about me,” Tyson, 48, said. “I know you are going to say, ‘Well Jamie’s almost older than you. How is he going to play you?’ There was a movie called ‘Benjamin Button.’ Remember that movie ‘Benjamin Button’? They have a new gadget where they can make him younger, like they made Brad Pitt younger. So Jamie’s gonna look younger.”

Tyson is of course referring to the 2008 David Fincher film that famously used a technology called Emotion Capture, allowing the minute and frighteningly accurate rendering of the subtlety of human emotion throughout various stages of life.

When comedian Jim Norton pointed out that it wasn’t even the age discrepancy he was worried about but more that Tyson seemed much more physically imposing than Foxx, Tyson had an answer for that, too.

“He’s gonna go do some steroids,” Tyson joked, “eat some pork, some potatoes and do all that stuff, lift some weights.”
