Does Italian designer Giorgio Armani root for the Nets because they wear all black?

While in town for the Met Ball, Armani was spotted at a more sporting affair — Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. The designer mingled with Jay Z and Beyoncé on Friday as he watched the Nets beat the Toronto Raptors in game six of their playoff series.

Afterward, the Italian clothes maven, 79, and his entourage headed straight to Antica Pesa — the Williamsburg outpost of the Rome restaurant.

“He walked in around 10 p.m. in head-to-toe black,” said a spy. “He quickly took a seat and ordered wine for the table. He was in great spirits.” The group was “speaking Italian during their meal” and finished with gelato and tiramisu.
