A source tells Page Six the NFL’s first openly gay player is set to marry his longtime boyfriend, Vito Cammisano. The couple got engaged in Rome.
The gents have been vacationing in Europe since Dec. 30, traveling to Spain, where they rang in 2015, and then Italy.
Sam spent part of Wednesday, his 25th birthday, in Vatican City, captioning a panoramic Instagram photo, “What a beautiful view from the top of St. Peter’s Basilica!!! Happy 25th birthday to me🎂🎂🎂🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹#vatican #Italy #birthday.”
Sam and Cammisano attended the University of Missouri together.
