Thanks for reading, Alec!

Hothead actor Alec Baldwin had to eat his words and fix an online rant against the NYPD cop who busted him over a cycling-summons meltdown after The Post exclusively reported that he got her name wrong.

“Correction: Officer’s name is Montero,” Baldwin wrote on Twitter.

The red-faced “30 Rock” star repeatedly called the cop “Moreno” in a series of rage-fueled tweets following his arrest Tuesday morning for biking the wrong way up Fifth Avenue and allegedly causing a scene by unleashing a barrage of F-bombs at the two cops who stopped him.

“Moreno shouted, ‘Let’s do this the right way!’ And handcuffed me,” Baldwin wrote late Tuesday.

He also said that “claims by Moreno of disorderly conduct are either a distortion or outright lie. Moreno lied in her report.”

Law-enforcement sources have told The Post that Baldwin was “totally belligerent” during his trademark tirade at the cops, who had no idea the scruffy, shorts-wearing Baldwin was an A-list celeb.

“Don’t you know my taxes pay your salary?” he ranted, according to a source.

“Can’t you get that around your f–king head?”

Eyewitnesses also described the meltdown as classic Baldwin behavior, with Long Island advertising saleswoman Patti Dempsey telling The Post: “He was angry like Alec Baldwin.”
