Paramount chief holds private screening of ‘Interstellar’

Paramount chief Brad Grey hosted a private screening Sunday night for Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated space drama “Interstellar.”

After the showing at Lincoln Square’s IMAX theater, the A-list crowd, which included Oscar-winning directors Ang Lee and Steve McQueen, as well as actors Jake Gyllenhaal, Chris Rock, Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, supermodel Helena Christensen, Viacom CEO Philippe Dauman, billionaire Ronald Perelman and real-life space expert Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson, headed over to ‘21’ to celebrate with Nolan and cast members Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain.

Rock was overheard joking that he lost the starring role to McConaughey. The film, considered an Oscar contender, opens on Nov. 7.
