Amanda Bynes‘ decision to trade Hollywood for the fashion world looks to be a good one.
The former actress, 27, and her family looked ebullient in a series of photos she posted to Twitter from Friday night’s Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise’s Debut Runway Show.
After a long absence from social media, Bynes returned earlier this month to let her fans know that become a student at the Los Angeles college.
“Hi everyone! I’m busy studying at @FIDM but I want to say I love you to my fans! Xoxo Amanda,” she wrote at the time.
Bynes enrolled in January and has reportedly thrown herself into her studies.
“She’s a great student who always participated and really cared about her classes,” a source told E! News last week. “She really fit in and loves her school.”
The happy images are welcome change after Bynes’s turbulent 2013. In December, she moved in with her her parents, Lynn and Rick, after completing a court-ordered rehab program.
