Model Angela Lindvall left New York for Topanga Canyon, Calif., after her sister died in a bike accident and her marriage to the father of her children ended, both within months of each other in 2006, while she was fighting for environmental causes.
“Everything just caved in. Here I was trying to save the planet, and meanwhile I was a mess — I was falling apart,” she told Danny Seo of the new green living magazine called Naturally.
The model and environmentalist then studied Kundalini yoga, traveled with her two sons Dakota and Sebastian, then set up camp at her California property. “It’s been really powerful to realize that one of the best ways to make change is to start with yourself,” she said.
