Is Lisa Hackner the next on the chopping block at ABC?
We’re told the daytime EVP is on rocky ground after butting heads over who will join “The View.”
“She’s been telling everyone she’s Rosie [O’Donnell] and Whoopi [Goldberg’s] boss, which hasn’t sat well with these strong women,” says an insider. “She’s pushing for lesser-known personalities, but Rosie and Whoopi want more well-known names.”
Hackner, whose resume includes Tyra Banks’ show, “doesn’t know how to create buzz,” adds the source.
An ABC rep said, “This is rubbish and offensive. ABC is looking at lots of people, but no decisions have been made.”
We’ve previously reported that O’Donnell has banned reality stars from the show.
