Harry Belafonte came to the sartorial aid of his friend, Tony nominee Tony Shalhoub, during a meeting with Enzo Custom Clothiers’ Eli Sved Tuesday.
We’re told Belafonte played “fashion consultant” to the lead actor nominee for Lincoln Center Theater’s “Act One” and helped put the final touches on his midnight blue tuxedo for the awards show.
Shalhoub remarked, “Once a waiter, always a waiter,” to which Belafonte quipped, “You do look spiffy, but I am not sure about those cuff links.”
