Fugees singer Pras Michel is headed back to court Thursday in a legal war with his ex Angela Severiano over child support.
The two were scheduled to appear in court in June, but Pras missed the hearing to travel by private jet to the World Cup instead.
He then tried to call in his testimony from a coffee shop in Colombia during a layover, but a New York judge held him “in default.”
We hear lawyers for Severiano plan to serve Michel with contempt papers if he shows up on Thursday.
Severiano is seeking about $7,000 per month — up from the $3,000 she currently receives to cover expenses for the couple’s son, Landon, 3.
She claims the funds could help upgrade her and Landon from the 250-square-foot apartment they currently share.
