Cate Blanchett took a break from her gig in New York’s hottest theater ticket, “The Maids,” to take in “Queen of the Night” at the clubby Diamond Horseshoe on Sunday night.
Oscar winner Blanchett is starring in the Lincoln Center Festival’s limited run of Jean Genet’s 1947 play with the Sydney Theatre Company.
At interactive “Queen of the Night,” which was just extended through Sept. 28 at the Paramount Hotel space, spies said Blanchett was recognized by audience members and was “kind enough to pose for pics with those who asked.”
