Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are headed for a split and Kim Kardashian may have had something to do with it.
The pair began experiencing problems after Cannon appeared on Big Boy’s Internet show, “Big Boy TV,” in March and was asked to name five people he slept with in the past, TMZ reports.
Cannon, 33, immediately responded, “Mariah Carey.”
He went on to rattle off a few more famous names and added, “Christina Milian, Nicole Scherzinger, Selita Ebanks … oh, Kim Kardashian!”
“I didn’t know that Kim Kardashian thing,” Big Boy said. “I just forgot.”
“You just forgot because it’s been a lot of people since me,” Cannon replied with a laugh. “She’s a great girl though! Her and her family are some of the most incredible people I’ve ever met in my life.”
The admission reportedly humiliated Carey, 45, and the relationship never recovered.
The couple famously began renewing their vows every year in a lavish (and very public) ceremony after their 2008 wedding.
However, the couple decided to skip the hoopla for their sixth anniversary in April, Cannon told Parade in May before denying reports of marital strife.
TMZ called the impending divorce a “done deal,” and added that the couple is already working out a property settlement and custody agreement over twins Monroe and Moroccan Scott.
