Former James Bond Pierce Brosnan admits his reign in the iconic role ended badly.

“I was lucky enough to make four Bond films. It finished in rather shambolic fashion, but I have no bitterness, no resentment,” says the star, 60, who ended his run as 007 with 2002’s “Die Another Day” when he was said to be too old for the part.

Brosnan adds in Cigar Aficionado, “I hold Bond dear to my heart. I’ve traveled the world as an ambassador for that character and I had a bloody great time doing it.”
