Christie Brinkley’s ex ditched by new wife over skirt-chasing ways

Christie Brinkley’s ex-hubby Peter Cook is on the prowl for younger babes again, prompting his long-suffering current wife to move out of their Hamptons home and file for legal separation, The Post has learned.

Suzanne Shaw was married to Cook for 6¹/₂ years and famously backed him during his bruising court battles with the Uptown Girl — before the serial cad’s skirt-chasing became too much to bear, sources said.

“Suzanne stood by Peter for years, through all his battles with Christie, but he lied to her and completely misrepresented himself. She repeatedly caught him cheating,” a source dished.

“Once a cheater, always a cheater. He’s up to his same old tricks and boasting about it all over the Hamptons. He’s a creep.”

The Hamptons-based architect split with Brinkley after cheating on her with Diana Bianchi — who was just 17 when he began wooing her.

He paid Bianchi $300,000 in a failed bid to keep her mouth shut — but apparently did not learn his lesson and is once again shamelessly carousing around the East End, sources said.

The separation agreement was finalized at the end of February, when Shaw moved out of his Hamptons home with her teenage daughter.

Cook had recently been spotted at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor introducing a young blonde to guests as his “girlfriend,” a source said.

He also tried to pick up a girl at Pierre’s restaurant in Bridgehampton.

“He wasn’t initially successful, but after he left, he called the restaurant and asked for the phone to be passed to her. It all appeared very desperate on his part,” a witness said.

Cook and Brinkley, who were married for six years, fought a bitter custody battle over their daughter, Sailor, 16, as well as a fierce legal fight over money after their split in 2008.

The supermodel accused Cook of abuse, branding him a “narcissist.” Cook accused her of manipulation.

In one court appearance in 2012, Brinkley hissed at Shaw, “When you find out he’s been cheating on you, I’ll be here for you.”

Shaw had replied that Brinkley should “come up with a new line.”

A source said, “Suzanne faithfully defended Peter against Christie, but now she regrets that she did so.”

Cook’s lawyer, John J. Fellin, denied any infidelity.

“The separation agreement does not mention, in any way, infidelity by Mr. Cook, and any such allegations to that end are without merit,” he said.

Shaw declined to comment.

A rep for Brinkley didn’t respond to a request for comment.
