“Iron Man” director Jon Favreau’s indie movie “Chef” — about a toque who quits his high-profile restaurant gig to start a gourmet Cuban sandwich truck called “El Jefe” — has spawned a foodie following.

LA chef Roy Choi, who’s featured in the film with Robert Downey Jr. and consulted as well, hosted a pop-up restaurant Thursday night based on the picture at Koreatown’s Line Hotel.

A spy reports, “Over 500 lined up in 90-degree heat” to order up the El Jefe Cubano sandwich along with mojitos and guava cheesecake. Favreau showed up and even jumped in a DJ booth to play some tunes for the crowds.

“Everybody Loves Raymond” producer Phil Rosenthal, who’s also an investor in Mario Batali’s Osteria Mozza as well as Adam Fleischman’s Umami Burger and Thomas Keller’s Bouchon, was seen chomping on Cubanos with Choi and Favreau before the event. (Is a franchise in the works?) Tech whiz Elon Musk tweeted after seeing the film, “Make sure to plan for a meal afterwards.”
