Lady Gaga belts out impromptu performance after Bennett show

After her classy concert at Jazz at Lincoln Center with legendary Tony Bennett on Monday night, Lady Gaga headed to a very different venue downtown to give an impromptu performance.

Spies said the “Applause” singer arrived at Rivington F&B on the Lower East Side — which recently opened in the former home of rocker bar St. Jerome’s, a regular watering hole of Gaga’s.

She came for a Jerome’s reunion, dubbed Magic Mondays, and her entourage included fellow Bennett collaborator and band leader Brian Newman.

Newman and Gaga began a spontaneous jam session, performing seven songs, including a rousing rendition of Nancy Sinatra’s classic “Bang Bang,” our spies said.

Newman’s wife, burlesque dancer Angie Pontani, accompanied the music with some singular gyrating.

Gaga earlier performed with Bennett for Jazz at Lincoln Center’s “Cheek to Cheek Live!” show.

PBS filmed the concert to air this fall — and Gaga and Bennett announced a “Cheek to Cheek” album of jazz standards including “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing),” “Sophisticated Lady” and “Lush Life,” to be released on Sept. 23.
